Responsibility
MTB Travel & Tours, based in Mauritius, operates all tours outlined here. We and our partners are responsible for providing the services we offer, but we disclaim any liability for:
- Property loss or damage.
These may occur during your tour, whether it’s related to transport, accommodation, or any other part of the journey. This includes any issues with transportation companies or delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.

Children’s Policy:
Ages 2-11: Children are charged for excursions.
Under 2 years: Free of charge (must sit on an adult’s lap).
Refund Conditions for Sea and Air-Related Activities
(MTB Travel and Tours Ltd - Catamaran Cruises, Speedboat Tours, Helicopter Tours, and other similar activities)
Cancellation by MTB Travel and Tours Ltd (Due to Bad Weather Conditions):
In the event of cancellations due to bad weather conditions or safety concerns, 100% of the payment will be refunded to the client. Weather assessments are conducted 24 hours prior to the scheduled excursion, and any cancellations made based on these conditions will be communicate to the client promptly.
Please note, a refund will not be provided if the activity is conducted as scheduled despite weather conditions, unless safety protocols dictate otherwise.
Client Cancellation:
To get a refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the tour starts.
No-Show Policy:
If the client does not show up for the scheduled activity, the full cost of the excursion will be charged and no refund will be issued.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling of activities is subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Clients must request rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance. MTB Travel and Tours Ltd will do its best to accommodate changes, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Payments of excursions
Payments are accepted in Credit card or in Cash, can be effected in Mauritian Rupees, British Pound, Euro, US Dollars, or any currency as prior agreed with MTB Travel and Tours. Any additional payment which is not part of the excursion cost (and has to be paid directly to the supplier) will be notified to you upon booking.

For residents, payment is accepted by cash, cards, Juice by MCB app, Blink by Emtel app and Spark by Absa.
For Non resident, payment is accepted by cash, online links but not by AMEX and American Express.
Minimum numbers apply to some excursions and if this affects you we will notify you as soon as possible.
All tickets, coupons and orders are furnished and issued subject in all respects to these terms and conditions and to any and all terms and conditions under which the means of transportation or other services provided thereby are offered or supplied by owner, operators or public carriers for whom MTB Travel and Tours acts solely as agent. MTB Travel and Tours reserves the right in its discretion to alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change any space
reservation feature and/or means of conveyance without notice and for any reason whatsoever and without allowance or refund, but be extra cost, if any resulting therefrom, must be paid by the passengers. The itinerary of your day may change without notice due to poor weather conditions.
The Transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their carriers or conveyances. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the Transport Companies and the purchaser of these tours and or passengers.
MTB Travel and Tours reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any tour prior to departure and declines to accept or retain any person as member of any tour at any time. In such case the refund will be based on the actual cost of the unfinished portion of the tour.
Each term and provision of these conditions shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law and any such term and/or provision found by a court of law to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable shall be deemed replaced by a term or provision that is valid and enforceable and that comes closest to expressing the intention of the invalid, illegal or unenforceable term or provision.
Loss of Property: MTB Travel and Tours is not responsible for any valuable/property lost during our excursions.
